Slayed. I dunno I’m obsessed with Beyoncé
“Trapped inside of every white girl is a strong Black woman ready to bust out” or so says Tanisha Thomas in Lifetime’s new series, “Girlfriend Intervention”. The “Bad Girls Club” alum is joined by three other style experts to turn “basic women” from drab to fab. They’ll experience not only a beauty makeover but a home …
So basically they made a reality show based off the stereotype that black women are here to help white women “get their groove on”? Is that what I’m seeing?
Why couldn’t it just be a show about people helping someone be fabulous and not have this angle? Why did these black women sign up for this crap?
I was wondering the same thing??? These 4 women didn’t have a problem with this show??? I wonder who turned it down!!!
